Evaluation Method of Soil Surface Roughness after Ditching Operation Based on Wavelet Transform

Soil surface roughness (SSR) is an important parameter affecting hydrology, erosion, gas exchange and other processes. The of the farmland environment directly related to tillage process. In order accurately characterize random (RR) parameters after ditching, a three-dimensional (3D) digital model was obtained by laser scanning under conditions indoor ditching test, influence oriented components formed removing ridge characteristics on RR analyzed introducing wavelet processing method. For this reason, four groups depths two types (whether agglomerated or not) were designed in paper. By comparing root mean squared height (RMSH) correlation length (CL) data calculated before each group tests, it concluded that RMSH values all change more than 200%, amplitude reached 271.02% treatment 12 cm depth, meanwhile, average CL value five cross-sections decreased 1.43–2.28 times, which proves component furrows ridges has significant calculation RR. further analyzing differences clods pits different directions local areas transform, shown transform can effectively remove anisotropy direction provide uniform method for evaluation at depths.
